Ros: Good evening all and sundry. I hope that you are alive and kicking. There are a lot of ways that you could do for spending the day; I want to thank all of you for coming to our meeting today. I see that all the members have gathered here. Let’s start the meeting. Wani is our secretary, could you please introduce our members.
Wani: (Introducing participants). Let’s hark back to chairperson.
Ros: Thanks wani for a warm welcome. So, our bare outline today is about poster or brochure to promote our program. We need to come out with either poster or brochure to promote our Green Finger Program for the Earth Day Project. OK, which one do you think is better idea?
Sharon and Fiza: Poster
Faressa: Brochure… I think…
Ros: It seems that we have different views from the members. It would be fair if we put this into vote. Then we can discuss our next step. Let’s start with brochure… Who agree that we use brochure as our medium to promote our activity...
(Nobody raises hand)
Ros: Faressa, I heard that you said brochure just now. Do you?
Faressa: Sorry, it’s not actually my brainchild. I just blurted…
Fiza: Chairperson… I think we can have a go at the poster because this method is cut above than the brochure in different facet.
Flora: Yes… If we proceed with poster, we do not squandering by printing brochure and distribute to people or drop it in the mail box. Well, a picture tells a thousand words right?
Ros: Im crystal clear with your point. Above all, we need a volunteer that can design that poster. The items that need to be included in our poster as follows: Wani, please take note.
1.      Title of our program
2.      Date
3.      Time
4.      Venue
5.      Company’s logo
6.      Prizes
a.      The first prize will be awarded RM1000
b.      Second prize  is RM500
c.       Third prize is RM300
7.      Fee is RM20

Did anyone want to help?

Faressa: I can give you a hand. I am glad to help you. I can create 2 types of posters and we can dicuss the best one in our next meeting.

Sharon: I also can help you solving this matter. I have flair at Photoshop.

Ros: Thanks for that volunteer. Faressa, how about your task that has been assigned from last week?

Faressa: Hmm... Things happens more by accident than by the design. That company agree to sponsor us for about RM10, 000 and promote our campaign to other private company. I call this a Helping Package. It’s beyond measure.

Ros: That’s nice to hear. I’m in good odour with you. Thanks. Owh, I think of something. By and large, we need to hire some marshals that can help us to handle our Earth Day Project. Fiza, I would like to appoint you for this task. Are you ok with that?

Fiza: Okey dookey. I know a person that can help me. You can turn on me.

Ros: Before we close today’s meeting, let me summarize the main point. In a nutshell, Faressa and Sharon need to create posters and Fiza need to look for marshals. So, the next meeting will be on Monday, 30 April at 2.00pm. Thank you for attending. Do you have any questions so far?

All: nope…

Ros: So if there is no question. I declare meeting closed
